I see love as a correspondence of vulnerabilities. A cosmic dance of giving and receiving. Where one needs to receive for her to give, the other needs to give for him to receive. And within this delicate interplay, lies Creation itself.

The woman receives. She is accepting, tolerating, beckoning. She is also giving, but not in a way the man gives. It is a nurturing kind of giving, one that brings forth life. This giving stimulates milk from her bosom, nourishing the vulnerable under her care. But for her to give, she first needs to receive from him. She needs to receive a piece of him. A piece from deep within. A piece of his body, a piece of his soul. A piece of his very existence. It is only after the man has given her from his Being, that she can give. And it is only then, in turn, that he can receive. He receives from her the precious gift. A child named Love.

And in his giving and her receiving is the most vulnerable exchange both can ever endure. He presents his very essence to her as an offering, to be accepted or rejected. And she opens her heart’s guarded doors to the agonising quandary of him entering into her warmth or leaving her cold. But the Masters of the creative energy understand one thing. That love between heaven and earth can only be born of Love begotten from deep within the soul. Vulnerability entails liberating the courage that lies dormant inside their hearts—the courage to fully bear their own vulnerability and the courage to fully embrace the other in theirs. I see love as correspondence; a sacred dance of giving and receiving of vulnerabilities. And in between, Love is born.
